The Kiwis have revamped an old song – Living Next Door to Alice – to celebrate their hosting of the Rugby World Cup…and chances of winning the Web Ellis Cup.

For those who don’t know (and some don’t) – Helen Clark is the former Prime Minister of New Zealand, Trevor Mallard is a New Zealand politician whose portfolio includes the Rugby World Cup and who’s had a few run-ins with the International Rugby Board (over some overzealous – okay crude – comments he made), and the Webb Ellis is of course the coveted trophy that the winning team is presented with at the end of the tournament. (It’s named after William Webb Ellis who allegedly invented rugby). It’s been 24 years since the Kiwis last held the Web Ellis Cup…(BTW – there’s a little bit of bad language).
