This country scraps entry visas for ALL nationalities
The East African state of Kenya will remove requirements for visas for visitors from every country around the world from next year.
USNews states that Kenya says it will scrap entry visa requirements for genuine visitors for every nation across the globe. The arrangement comes into effect next month. From January 2024 no traveller will require visas to enter the East African state of Kenya.

E-VISAS
The country has developed a digital platform to ensure all visitors would receive an electronic travel authorisation in advance, instead of needing to apply for a visa.
The move comes after Kenya announced in October that it would be removing travel barriers and entry visas for all African nations.

GROWING TREND
Easing of entry requirements appears to be a growing trend over the last few months. Japan opened up an electronic visa to numerous countries this year.
Saudi Arabia launched a new e-visas for select nationalities. South Africa was the only African nation to feature on its list.

KENYA SCRAPS VISAS
Kenya and Rwanda recently announced that they would remove entry visa requirements for all African nations. Going a step further Kenya has now said that it will extend the eased entry to all nationalities.
Previously, passport holders from several countries needed to obtain entry visas when visiting Kenya.
Depending on the country of origin these entry visas were costly, being charged in USD – making it expensive to visit Kenya.
