DIGITAL NOMAD VISAS: THE BEST OF THE BEST

One European country has emerged as the world’s best destination for the digital nomad who wishes to work while enjoying their life in a beautiful, vibrant and culturally rich environment, reports SchengenVisa.Info.

According to the recently released Digital Nomad Visa Index by VisaGuide.World, which analyses and ranks the visas offered to digital nomads by 38 world countries based on several factors, Spain is the country that has the best digital nomad visa in the world.

Lum Kamishi from VisaGuide.World, revealed that the low-income requirement that applies to get a nomad work visa in Spain along with the lower costs of living compared to the other countries in the list, are some of the factors that makes Spain the most convenient choice for remote workers.

“It’s also simple things that increase the quality of life for a digital nomad, like good internet speed, the possibility to live there for a year without paying taxes, and the low taxes in the second year.” Kamishi said as per SchengenVisa.Info.

According to the study, digital nomads can live in budget-friendly Spain with a minimum of €641 (+/- R13 000) per month, although applicants do need to prove that they have a monthly income of at least €2,140 (+/- R43 000) monthly in order to live there.
