Condor returns to South Africa for seasonal flights
German airline, Condor, has restarted its Frankfurt to Johannesburg and Cape Town seasonal routes this November. Here’s more details…
CONDOR KICKS OFF SEASONAL FLIGHTS
Friday, 3 November marked the kick off of Condor’s Frankfurt to Johannesburg season route, which plans to run until 13 April 2024.
Due to the success of the route last year, the airline decided to bring back the flights for the second time, flying from Frankfurt to Johannesburg on Mondays and Fridays, and from Johannesburg to Frankfurt on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

As per Tourism Update, Condor’s Johannesburg route will run alongside the Frankfurt to Cape Town route, which will operate four flights a week this November on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Return flights from Cape Town will then take off on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Then from 18 December, Condor will add another flight to the schedule, which will depart from Frankfurt on Sundays and return from Cape Town on Mondays. The Cape Town-Frankfurt route will end on 14 April 2024.

VIRGIN ATLANTIC’S LONDON TO CAPE TOWN FLIGHTS ALSO RETURN
Virgin Atlantic also recently resumed its seasonal flights on 28 October – connecting Cape Town and London.
The flights are set to run until March 2024 and will add more than 80 000 seats between Cape Town International Airport and London’s Heathrow, with daily flights between the two cities, reports Travel News.

Flights will take off on Virgin Atlantic’s Boeing 787-9, the airline’s most fuel-efficient aircraft, which offers travellers the option of Upper Class, Premium and Economy Light, Classic and Delight cabins.
