KAIZER CHIEFS TO APPOINT NEW COACH
The chairman confirmed a new coach is coming before next season. According to Kaizer Motaung, the process to find the new man started last year.
Motaung said introducing a new coach during the season would be disruptive. The former superstar said every new coach requires a pre-season period.
“If we bring a new coach now, it will cause a lot of confusion for us in terms of stability,” Motaung said on BBK LIVE, as quoted by SuperSport TV’s Selebalo Phasha.
“Coaches come with demands, these demands in the middle of the season can impact badly on the team,” he concluded.
The pressure increased after interim coach Cavin Johnson started 2024 poorly. Chiefs delivered three goalless draws that included the 5-4 loss to Milford FC on penalties.
In the meantime, reports are pushing information on Chiefs’ upcoming new coach.
