Will Jordan forced to sit out Test season
The All Blacks and the Crusaders are dealt a blow as Will Jordan is ruled out of the Super Rugby Pacific campaign and mid-year Tests
In bad news for the All Blacks and Crusaders, it has been confirmed that flyer Will Jordan will be out of action for up to six months with a shoulder injury.

The injury update, as announced by the Crusaders, not only rules Jordan out of the Super Rugby Pacific campaign as well as the All Blacks’ mid-year Tests; it also puts him in danger of missing a portion of New Zealand’s Rugby Championship campaign including their showdown against the Springboks in August.
The 25-year-old utility back — who finished as top try-scorer at last year’s World Cup in France with eight touchdowns — needs to undergo corrective surgery on a recurring injury from last season.
“After assessment from the Crusaders medical team he will undergo surgery and as a result be unavailable for selection during the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific season,” the Crusaders said in a statement.

Jordan is expected to return in “approximately six months”, the Crusaders added, meaning he will not feature in the All Blacks two Tests against England at home and the one against Fiji in San Diego in July.
The Springboks are scheduled to host the All Blacks at Ellis Park on 31 August and in Cape Town a week later, putting Jordan — who has scored 31 tries in as many Test appearances — in a race against time to be fit for those blue ribbon fixtures in South Africa.
