There are only two options for Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns supporters this Saturday: Be in Durban or in front of the television at 18:00.

MTN8 FINAL: ORLANDO PIRATES VS MAMELODI SUNDOWNS
Last season saw Pirates send out Sundowns in the semi-finals as Monnapule Saleng became a new hero for the Sea Robbers.
It is now October 2023 and the Moses Mabhida Stadium ground is ready for the MTN8 final. According to the PSL, the game will kick off at 18:00 on Saturday 7 October.

KERMIT ERASMUS CONFIRMS HUNGER
Meanwhile, Pirates forward Erasmus has confirmed high motivation for the MTN8 final, while also showing enough respect to Sundowns.
“Preparation has been going well so far even though we just started the week yesterday, we’re hungrier than ever and here to give our best effort and prepare well for the week ahead.

“I think we can’t be more motivated than knowing we’re playing a final and even though it’s against Sundowns, it could be any other team – but knowing that it’s a cup final, it;s an important game, only one team can win and be victorious and lift the trophy.
“Hopefully we can be the best that we’re preparing for this week and it will show… it will be a result of what we put in this week, we’re hungry and willing to give our best,” the Pirates star added.
