Handre Pollard is topping trends for his performance after Springboks’ 16-15 win over England in the 2023 Rugby World Cup semi-finals.
The Springboks are topping trends after they pulled moments of brilliance in the second half of their semi-final showdown with England to win 16-15 at the Stade de France, Paris, over the weekend.
England had one foot in the finals at halftime after going to the break with a 12 – 6 lead. However, the Boks were too strong to contain in the second half as they put on a show with Handre Pollard being the major highlight.

MZANSI PRAISES HANDRE POLLARD AFTER SPRINGBOKS WIN
Handre Pollard was clinical on goal, and he was the difference. The 2019 Rugby World Cup, top goal scorer was even nominated man of the match despite coming on from the bench to replace Maine Libbok in the first half.
In the backdrop of the win, Marise Pollard took to Instagram to celebrate the victory. She dropped a series of photos from the Stade de France. Marise Pollard captioned the post: ‘Dankie Jesus 🙏🏼🤍.’

South Africa heads into the final with a bullish record of 13 wind from 14 games. The Springboks only lost to Ireland during the pool stages.
However, on their road to the finals, they knocked out host France in the quarterfinals before sealing their final spot with a win over England.
