Victor Osimhen set to play against Bafana
Victor Osimhen is expected to play against Bafana in Wednesday’s clash despite reports of “abdominal pain” troubling the player.
Nigeria starman Victor Osimhen is set to feature in the Super Eagles’s African Cup of Nations(Afcon) match against Bafana Bafana on Wednesday.
An abdominal discomfort delayed the striker from travelling with the squad earlier in the week.

Osimhen was was stretchered off in stoppage time during Nigeria’s 1-0 win over Angola in the quarter-finals.
On Monday, it appeared as if the feared striker might miss the Bafana game due to injury.

VICTOR OSIMHEN COULD FACE BAFANA ON WEDNESDAY
“Members of the team traveled from Abidjan to Bouake today via a 10pm Air Cote D’Ivoire flight. Osimhen did not however make the trip as a result of an abdominal discomfort.

“Team medics confirmed that he has been placed under close watch with a member of the medical team staying behind in Abidjan with him. If cleared by tomorrow morning, he will join the rest of the squad before 5pm,” Nigeria football team said in a statement.

On Tuesday, Osimhen got the green light to link up with the squad however the exact nature of his injury remains somewhat uncertain, according to The Standard.
