According to SoccerLaduma, the Buccaneers made a new two-year contract offer to Thembinkosi Lorch before he opted to make a switch to Sundowns. As we all know, the 30-year-old attacker joined the champions on deadline day after nine years with Pirates.

Along with Lorch, Rhulani Mokwena’s team also brought in 23-year-old winger Tashreeq Matthews after his stints in Germany and Sweden. That’s not to mention the R46.7 Million purchase of Argentina playmaker Matias Esquivel, taking the club’s expenditure in January to roughly R103 Million.
