Miguel Timm explains why Orlando Pirates are maturing following their 2-1 win over Golden Arrows in the league in KZN on Sunday afternoon.
The Pirates star midfielder says the fact that they fought hard to bag their third win in a row means the team is maturing nicely.

Coach Jose Riveiro’s men downed Arrows at Mpumalanga Stadium in KZN and now sit third on the DStv Premiership table with 25 points.
Before the clash against Abafana Bes’thende, Pirates beat Moroka Swallows and Timm’s former club, TS Galaxy.
Goals from Patrick Maswanganyi and Karim Kimvuidi saw the Buccaneers claim the full three points while Arrows netted a consolation goal from Nduduzo Sibiya’s spot kick.

TIMM ON WHY PIRATES ARE MATURING AFTER 2-1 WIN IN KZN
The talented Bafana Bafana midfielder, Timm says the win was important for the maturing reigning MTN8 and Nedbank Cup champions, Pirates.
“This is an important month for us, we know that. A bunch of mature guys out there and we worked for each other,” says Timm.
“It’s difficult to come here (Mpumalanga Stadium) and play. But I think the result wasn’t a true reflection of the game, we could have got more (goals).

“Good fluidity, good defending, good in attack as a unit, and a much-deserved result.”
PIRATES PREPARES TO FACE SUPERSPORT IN POLOKWANE
The hard-working Pirates midfielder, Timm will be key for Pirates when they meet an old foe and hoodoo side, SuperSport in the league.
Pirates travel to Peter Mokaba Stadium to meet SuperSport who are on 26 points at number two – the two giants will lock horns on Saturday.

Under coach Gavin Hunt, Amatsatsantsa A Pitori are blowing hot and cold as they have struggled for consistency in their recent matches.
Besides the 2-1 win they collected against Moroka Swallows, SuperSport have only registered one win in their last three matches.
