Orlando Pirates skipper and defender Tapelo Xoki sends a special message to the Bucs faithful as they prepare for the Soweto Derby this weekend.
Pirates are set to meet their fierce rivals, Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium and the seasoned defender is ready for war.

He says they are ready to give their Bucs faithful all the best effort and make sure they beat Chiefs on Saturday afternoon.
Fresh from a 1-0 win over Sekhukhune United on Tuesday night, the Buccaneers are in high spirits as the skipper, Xoki says.

The central defender, Xoki believes the win over Babina Noko has boosted their morale and he says the Bucs faithful will be happy come Saturday.

Under coach Jose Riveiro, Pirates will look to secure their second DStv Premiership on the trot after tasting a league win back in August.
“I think it was a good victory for us and we fought very hard to make sure that we get a win. It has now placed us in the right space of mind going into the Chiefs game,” says the Bucs defender.
“It’s an important game for us, but also for everyone who is associated with Pirates, especially the fans.
“They want to see us doing good and we are going to make sure that we do our best to get a win on the weekend.”

XOKI ON BUCS PROGRESS AND LACK OF LUCK
The former AmaZulu defender and captain says they have been doing well but luck has not been on their side, but promises the Bucs family a good win.
“We have been playing well, our performances have been very good. That’s why I say results were not falling our way. We needed that win to lift ourselves up because we definitely are able to get results because of the way we play,” he adds.

“Everything has been going well in camp preparing for this game (derby).
“We want to continue with where we left off during our last game. But we are ready for the match and we are looking forward to making our fans happy.”
