That much was confirmed when Ireland thrashed Scotland 36-14 last Saturday evening, confirming top spot in Pool B for the Irish and relegating the Springboks to runners-up.

Meanwhile, France topped Pool A and will thus play South Africa in the Last 8.
The match will take place at the Stade de France on Sunday, 15 October at 21:00 (SA time).

The winner of that match will face the winner of the England v Fiji quarter-final, in the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, Ireland will play the All Blacks in the quarter-finals.
