The Springboks will resume their rivalry with England in a blockbuster fixture at Twickenham in London as part of their tour of Europe at the end of 2024, the Rugby Football Union (RFU) confirmed on Sunday.

The Springboks and England will face off on the weekend of 16/17 November 2024, in what is set to be the first meeting between the nations at Twickenham since 2022, when they met in the final Test of the year in London.
The Springboks won that match 27-13.

The Springboks’ other two opponents on their traditional year-end tour of the northern hemisphere will be announced by the hosts in due course.

“The Autumn Nations Series forms a crucial part of our international season, and it’s always great to line up against one of our biggest rivals in England,” said SA Rugby Director of Rugby Rassie Erasmus.
“They are one of the top rugby nations in the world and they always deliver a top-quality performance against us. The atmosphere at Twickenham is also something special.
“Our focus at the moment is solely on the Rugby World Cup, but it’s very exciting to know that we have another thrilling season lined up next year.”
