Stick is one of the assistant coaches and the current backline coach. He has worked wonders with this backline, playing his part in what has been a truly revolutionary period for Springboks attacking rugby.
Moreover, took charge of the SA ‘A’ side last year which emphasizes SA Rugby’s trust in him. Unfortunately, it did not go according to plan with the SA ‘A’ side losing to Munster (28-14) and Bristol Bears (26-18). It remains seen whether this will affect the Blitzboks legends chances of taking the reigns as Bok coach.
