Siyabonga Ngezana was on Monday named the best player for the Round One of the Romanian Cup after impressing for FCSB.

Ngezana scored his first goal for FCSB in the first round to help the Romanian outfit defeat Bihor 2-0.

This comes on the back of a backlash he received from the outspoken FCSB president George Becali.

Ngezana recently gave away a penalty in the 2-2 draw with Petrolul, and an angry Becali singled him out after the match.

“Then Ngezana… What are you trying to do that [to give the penalty away]? Why foul there,” said Becali after that match as per Gazeta Sporturilor.
