Sipho Chaine set to sign bumper new deal
Orlando Pirates management are reportedly set to agree on a new long-term contract with Sipho Chaine.
Orlando Pirates star Sipho Chaine looks set to sign a new deal at the Buccaneers.
Chaine joined the club in a rather surprise move from Chippa United in 2022 however he quickly established himself as the club’s number one goalkeeper.

Since joining the club, Chaine has made 33 appearances for the Buccaneers, keeping 12 cleansheets.

“The new deal for Sipho Chaine is imminent. It’s as good as done. Yes, the club had tabled a new deal and it’s just due for the player to put a pen on it.” a source told SoccerLaduma.
“Both parties are happy about the proposed new deal. They didn’t want to wait until it’s too late that’s why Orlando Pirates have done it with almost one and a half year to go.”

“Look I think we have enough quality in the team, I just think they have not been given enough opportunities as individuals and I think the way we assess them, or the way we analyse them as part of the Chiefs family,” Johnson told iDiskiTimes
“I think that needs to be a little better between myself and my coaching staff. Because then we can give them more, they can be more positive towards themselves.
“If you did come to Kaizer Chiefs as an average player, then we will make you a better player. I think we need to get in their skin right now and there are good players.”
