
Rhulani admits Downs have not had time to prepare

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rhulani Mokwena says his team has not had the time to prepare for African Football League final against Wydad Athletic Club on Sunday.

Downs reached the final of the inaugural African Football League after beating CAF Champions League holders Al Ahly SC 1-0 on aggregate in a two-legged affair.

Rhulani’s men will now play Moroccan giants Wydad in a two-legged final.
“Now it’s to recover the players, drink lot of water, sleep,” Mokwena told the media after his side reached the final on Wednesday.

“I have not watched Wydad as a coach. I’ve watched Wydad against Enyimba just as a mere spectator.
“So, before I even think about Wydad is sleep well tonight for the players, recover, drink lots of water,” said Rhulani.
“[We’ll] analyse the game and then we start to see what we have to prepare for Sunday.”

Sundowns have already reached one cup final this season but lost out on penalties to Orlando Pirates.
