Pitso Mosimane’s Al Wahda rips Andres Iniesta’s team apart!

Pitso Mosimane steered Al Wahda to a 8-0 aggregate win over Andres Iniesta’s club Emirates Club in the UAE League Cup on Thursday.

Pitso Mosimane steered Al Wahda to a 8-0 aggregate win over Andres Iniesta‘s club Emirates Club in the UAE League Cup on Thursday.

The team went into the second leg with a healthy 3-0 lead from the first leg, and on the night, Mosimane’s men won by five unanswered goals.

As a result, Mosimane’s charges advanced to the second round of the UAE League Cup, but the result meant end of the road for Iniesta and his teammates.

Iniesta, a Spanish legend by his standards, was in the starting line-up for Emirates Club, and played the entire 90 minutes for his team.

However, Al Wahda players made lightwork of him as they didn’t only dominate the scoreline but the ball possession as well.

PITSO MOSIMANE SLOWLY HE GETTING IT RIGHT AT AL WAHDA

With this being his first season at Al Wahda and in a foreign country, it is safe to say Mosimane is slowly getting it right in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

To date, Mosimane has been in charge of four official matches for Al Wahda, and he won three and lost just once.

The defeat came in Mosimane’s first official game in charge of Al Wahda in what was the first time he’s lost an opening game with a new club in his career.
