Pitso Mosimane: ‘Sundowns don’t have to call me’

As a free agent since leaving Al-Wahda in October, Mosimane has been made to consider endless possibilities, including his former club Sundowns.

According to the Kagiso-born legendary coach, there is just no fitting project at Sundowns, except for the FIFA Club World Cup but it is still unlikely.
“Ja, but Sundowns don’t have to call me because they’re doing exceptionally well,” Mosimane said via Khaya FM, as quoted by iDiskiTimes.

“What is the project today? Maybe the World Cup, yes, but I think they will win the Champions League and they’re just close to it.

“It’s like Man City. Yeah. They’ve been trying, trying, they will win it. Ultimately, they’ll win it and they’re on the right course.
“And they’ll go to the World Cup. We’ve been to the World Cup before and they will do it again.

“But I work for anybody who has a vision. I want to wake up and be happy to go to work. That’s me,” Mosimane concluded.
Meanwhile, “Jingles” remains linked with Kaizer Chiefs, rather than a return to Sundowns.
