Percy Tau scoops up eighth trophy with Al Ahly
Bafana Bafana attacker Percy Tau has just realised his dream by lifting his eighth trophy with Egyptian club Al Ahly on Friday night.
Bafana Bafana attacker Percy Tau clinched his EIGHTH trophy as Al Ahly beat Zamalek 2-0 in the Egypt Cup final on Friday night.
The encounter looked to be heading for a draw until Emam Ashour broke the deadlock in the 89th minute to give Al Ahly the lead.
The goal unsettled Zamalek and their players were dejected, and deep into stoppage time, Afsha doubled Al Ahly’s lead.

Tau started for Al Ahly but he was replaced after 73 minutes with both teams still locked at 0-0.
However, he had done enough damage to the Zamalek defence when he left the pitch, and it was all smiles for Al Ahly after the game.
This is Tau’s EIGHTH trophy since joining Al Ahly in 2021.
He has now won the Egyptian Super Cup on two different occasions, two CAF Champions League titles, the Egypt Cup twice, one CAF Super Cup title as well as one Egyptian Premier League.
