The Buccaneers first choice goalkeeper was on the receiving end of a heavy Therlo Moosa challenge in his side’s 2-0 victory over Cape Town Spurs on 20 October 2023.

“Sipho’s injury seems to be more serious than what everybody thought. We all thought it is a minor thing and he would be back after that Cape Town Spurs game.” an insider told Citizen.
