Lorch made a brief appearance at the Randburg Magistrates Court on Monday, 4 September where he was expected to be sentenced.
However, the Court postponed the sentencing to October – this is the second time that it has been postponed.

In June 2023, Lorch was found guilty of assaulting his then girlfriend Fundiswa Nokuphiwa Mathithibala in 2020.

He was set to be sentenced in July but the Court postponed it to 4 September, and the Pirates star will have to wait a little longer to know his fate.

Lorch is yet to feature for the Buccaneers this season due to injury, and it is unclear, at this stage, as to when he will fully recover.
