The Brazilians dominated Hugo Broos’ Bafana Bafana side at the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

South Africa finishing in third place not only put Bafana Bafana’s players on the map, but Rhulani Mokwena too!

Kapeluschnik however has firmly stated that despite massive interest, Mokwena remains committed to Mamelodi Sundowns and its goals, for now!

“There’s always interest in Rhulani but Rhulani is very happy at Sundowns, interest in Rhulani is always interesting to him, I mean it has been like that for long.” Kapeluschnik told Kickoff.

“I have a lot of approaches for his services more than anything, to be honest with you, but he’s very happy where he is.”

Rhulani Mokwena was left frustrated with referee Thando Ndzandzeka after his side’s 1-1 draw against Orlando Pirates in the DStv Premiership.

Things simply didn’t click for both teams at a packed Loftus Versfeld Stadium and Mokwena has since voiced his frustrations.

Take a look at what the impressive coach had to say regarding Thando Ndzandzeka’s performance below.

SUNDOWNS BOSS UNIMPRESSED WITH REFEREE AFTER PIRATES DRAW

“I didn’t like the game today. It’s not a game of football,” Sundowns coach Mokwena told SuperSport TV as quoted by IdiskiTimes.

“First time that I don’t like my team. Not at all and of course a game of football you need three good teams and I don’t like my team today, I don’t think the referees were good today either.

“I never complain about referees but I don’t think they were good today. I think Orlando Pirates put up a fight.”

Mamelodi Sundowns will be facing La Masia on Tuesday evening in their Nedbank Cup Round of 32 clash.

The last time the Brazilians lifted the Nedbank Cup trophy was in 2022. Last season’s champions were Orlando Pirates.
