Manchester City’s treble trophy tour is coming to Cape Town
The fan-orientated event will be held at Croquet Lawn in the Waterfront on Sunday, 17 March, from 9am to 18pm.
The Cape Town leg of the planned Man City treble trophy tour has been scheduled for March and will be held at the V&A Waterfront.
The fan-orientated event will be held at Croquet Lawn in the Waterfront on Sunday, 17 March, from 9am to 18pm. However, it should be noted that members of Manchester City’s Official Supporters Club in South Africa will have exclusive access to the silverware for 45 minutes between 9am and 9:45am.
Man City’s collection of trophies won in 2023 will be accompanied by club veteran Shaun Wright-Phillips, the club mascot and several of the club’s coaches who will deliver coaching sessions for young fans, according to their website.
Fans will have the opportunity to ‘celebrate last season’s historic achievements and have their photos with the Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup’.
Content creators will also join The Manchester Derby on the day. Anyone who wishes to have a photo with the trophies should register in advance here, for a chosen timeslot.
If there is availability on the day, walk-ins will be welcomed on a first-come-first-served basis, but ‘access to the trophies can’t be guaranteed’.
