AMAZULU READY TO STUN SUNDOWNS!
“I’m not worried at all. I know it is going to be a tough game. We are underdogs because everyone is expecting us to lose that game,” AmaZulu coach Pablo Franco said as quoted by Sowetan ahead of his side’s clash against Mamelodi Sundowns.
“But also, everyone was expecting us to lose when we were playing here in the same stadium. Mamelodi Sundowns came here and played their best team.
“We could have won that game also. Now we would have been the first and only team to have beaten them so far this season in the league.
“The guys will be highly motivated and we will give them a tough time. We will try to do our best, we know their quality and we are playing away.”
Mamelodi Sundowns are fresh off a 2-0 away victory against Mauritanian side Nouadhibou. AmaZulu earned a 1-0 victory over Royal AM in the Nedbank Cup last weekend.
Next up for Sundowns is a titanic battle against TP Mazembe in the CAF Champions League.
AmaZulu are also in action this weekend when they travel to Cape Town to face Spurs.
