Michael Loftman is reportedly already the new Sundowns assistant coach.
If these reports are true, he is already working side by side with head coach Rhulani Mokwena.

SUNDOWNS SIGN EX-PIRATES COACH
Loftman, who formerly was involved with the coaching ranks at Pirates, is now the new Sundowns assistant coach.
“The appointment was made. It was not public but Loftman is now the second assistant coach,” the relevant source confirmed on SoccerLaduma.

He is set to work alongside Manqoba Mngqithi.
Furthermore, Loftman brings international experience having previously coached at Tottenham Hotspur too.
SUNDOWNS AIMING TO END CAF DROUGHT
Sundowns have gone into the tournament as one of the favourites
However, they but have choked in the last six. Mokwena and Sundowns management are adamant to end this drought by finally conquering Africa. They certainly have the squad depth and financial power to do so and this showed when they convincingly beat Al Ahly 5-2 last year (the eventual CAFCL Champions).
