Mamelodi Sundowns pull plug on Bafana striker’s move
In a rather surprise turn of events, Mamelodi Sundowns have reportedly halted a Bafana Bafana striker’s move to the club!
Mamelodi Sundowns were linked with a surprise move for towering Bafana Bafana striker Lars Veldwijk.
Rhulani Mokwena was reportedly adamant on adding a new dimension to his attack for the CAF Champions League.
However the latest reports suggest the seven-time capped Bafana Bafana striker won’t be joining Sundowns due to a late transfer twist!

“Sundowns made a surprise approach for the towering hitman who would have been an addition to their attack..” an IdiskiTimes report read.
“iDiski Times understands the club have now opted against signing Veldwijk with the technical team divided on his potential role in the squad, despite it potentially being a short-term move for the seven-time capped Bafana Bafana striker.”

In other news, former Kaizer Chiefs star Siyabonga Ngezana has returned back to Romania following a brief holiday in South Africa.
The FCSB defender has been linked with a blockbuster move to French Ligue 1 side Lorient in recent weeks.

This comes after a string of promising performances for Romanian giants FCSB following his move to the club at the beginning of the season.
According to reports, FCSB rejected a R105 million offer for Ngezana from Lorient.
While the negotiations drag on, the Kaizer Chiefs academy graduate has already returned back to Romania and is preparing for tomorrow’s match against UTA Arad.
