Manqoba Mngqithi currently has two PSL sides interested in his services – Chiefs and AmaZulu.

His first choice is Amakhosi. Meaning, he is not open to joining the Soweto giants at the end of the season.

MNGQITHI WANTS TO JOIN CHIEFS
The Brazilians assistant and former co-coach, Mngqithi, would prefer to join Chiefs.
“The Kaizer Chiefs job is one that appeals to him more but don’t be surprised if AmaZulu come calling again if things don’t go according to plan with their current coach at the end of the season,” the report read on Phakaaathi.

Moreover, his contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
Interestingly, this is when Amakhosi is expected to appoint a new coach on a long-term deal. Meanwhile, Cavin Johnson has been informed that he will remain interim coach until the end of the season. This opens the door to the prospect of Mngqithi joining Chiefs.

AMAKHOSI RENEW INTEREST IN MAMELODI SUNDOWNS ASSISTANT COACH
Amakhosi were heavily linked with Mngqithi last season.
They instead opted for Molefi Ntseki with Mngqithi honoring his Sundowns contract which still had 1 year left. However, come the end of the season, he will be a free agent.

Furthermore, Amakhosi has reportedly renewed interest in Ntseki too.
“Kaizer Chiefs have also shown interest in Mngqithi whose contract ends later this year,” the insider stated on the same publication.
