MAMELODI SUNDOWNS SIGN THEMBINKOSI LORCH FROM ORLANDO PIRATES
To prepare for the CAF Champions League deep stages, Sundowns have made a headline signing.

Pirates confirmed Lorch’s departure to Sundowns last Friday. “Thembinkosi Lorch is to leave Orlando Pirates Football Club after a discussion between the Chairman Dr. Irvin Khoza and the Mamelodi Sundowns hierarchy,” Pirates stated.

“The Club thanks “Nyoso” for his immense contribution by adding another page in the history of the Club.
“We wish him and his family well in his future sporting pursuit,” Pirates concluded.

THE REASON REVEALED
Speaking to his new club’s media, the former Buccaneer said the move is simply a crucial move in this particular time of his career.
“Leavingwas tough, given the time I spent wearing the Pirates jersey and the love I received from the fans,” he told Sundowns Magazine.
“However, I believe that making this move is a crucial step in my career at this time. Being in this new environment and joining a winning team like Sundowns feels incredibly satisfying.
“I am eager to contribute my best and continue achieving success in this new chapter of my football journey,” the former Pirates hero concluded.
