Leinster tables multi-million rand offer for Springboks lock
Leinster have offered double World Cup winning springboks lock, RG Snyman a big money contract deal to join them next season.
The Jacques Nienaber coached Leinster have reportedly tabled a multimillion-rand offer to sign double World Cup-winning Springboks lock, RG Snyman.
LEINSTER PUTS UP BIG MONEY FOR BIG MAN
Last month, Munster announced that the 28-year-old will leave the club at the end of the 2023-24 European season after an injury-ravaged four-year stay in Limerick, which saw him play just 10 games for them.
Confirmation of the Springbok’s departure, piqued the interest of several big clubs/franchises around the world, most notably the Bulls and Stormers in South Africa and Bath in England.
But in a shock move, it has became apparent that Snyman would remain in Ireland with his ultimate destination being Leinster.

And now, according to a report by RugbyPass,, Leinster have entered into negotiations with Snyman’s camp and their initial offer effectively blew all other suitors out of the water, having tabled him a contract worth a whopping €500,000 (R10 million) a season.
If the deal comes to fruition, the game-changing 28-year-old Springbok, whose contribution as an impact replacement to South Africa’s last two World Cup wins was sizeable, will thus link-up with Jacques Nienaber — his former Bok boss — at the Irish province.
