KHULISO MUDAU INJURED DURING TUNISIA GAME
“I don’t know, we have to wait till tomorrow [Thursday]. The fact that Khuliso was to go out is not a good sign,” Broos said as per FARPost.
“It’s an ankle. We will see him tomorrow and make a good analysis of his injury and then maybe we can decide if he should be ready for next week. “
Mudau has been one of the best performing Bafana players at the Afcon and losing him would be a significant blow for Broos and the team.
Thapelo Morena, who played two games at the Afcon so far, could be slotted in the right-back position should his Mamelodi Sundowns teammate fail to recover in time.
In the past two years, Mudau hardly featured for Bafana despite being a regular for Masandawana. After getting pressure from the media and fans, Broos eventually played the Downs man ahead of Mobbie in recent months.

The official assessment of Mudau’s injury is expected on Thursday, leaving Bafana fans and coach Broos in limbo until then. If Mudau is ruled out, Broos could turn to Thapelo Morena at right-back or Nyiko Mobbie, who came on for him.
