It was recently confirmed that former Chiefs star Khama Billiat had sealed a deal with Yadah FC after weeks of speculation that suggested three or four Zimbabwean clubs were after his signature.
However, the deal was eventually hijacked by Yadah FC, and according to Soccer24, Billiat has penned a one-year deal with Yadah and will earn around R95 000 per month during that period.
It was previously suggested that Billiat was earning around R800,000 per month at Chiefs, but at 33 years of age – and with his career in limbo after leaving Amakhosi – this was seen as the best deal on offer.
Notably, he has also received a Rover Defender as part of his package, with his vehicle valued at nearly R2-million.

Notably, it was recently claimed by Dynamos executive vice-chairman Vincent Chawonza that Yadah tempted Billiat with an in-person cash downpayment.
“Yadah gave Khama (Billiat) $15 000 (around R283,000) and he signed with them… they had cash on them,” Chawonza was quoted as saying.
Whatever the case may be, it will be very interesting to see if Billiat can make a success of this new chapter in his career.
