Katlego Otladisa secured a surprise move to Orlando Pirates at the beginning of the season, a move that shocked even the player himself!
The former Mamelodi Sundowns winger was a shining light for Marumo Gallants during their heroic CAF Confederations Cup run last season.

“I didn’t really expect that I’d get another chance to play for another big team after Sundowns. All I was focusing on was getting minutes at any team I was playing for at that particular time.” the Orlando Pirates man told Sowetan.
“I wanted to associate myself with a winning fraternity, hence I decided to come to Pirates. Pirates have been doing very well, I mean last season they won two cups, so I wanted that feeling as well, to tag along with the team.”

“The league is the most important competition, it goes without saying,” Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro said as quoted by TimesLive.
“Thirty games, 15 away and home against everyone in every circumstance, hot and raining. So, it’s the most important competition and we really want to find our rhythm there.”
