Following Meta’s new exciting feature called WhatsApp Channels, Amakhosi have become the first local club to confirm their own channel on the world’s biggest messaging app.

The club confirmed the service via X on Monday in a link about the club’s national call’s up.

CHIEFS STAR EDSON CASTILLO TO FACE BRAZIL

In other news, Edson Castillo is set for a special experience.

Following his move to Mzansi in July from Monagas in his homeland, the 29-year-old is set to make his seventh appearance for Venezuela.

The news was revealed by Amakhosi after Castillo’s four goals in 12 appearances (PSL and MTN8). The midfielder’s last national runout was in February 2022, where he was an unused substitute in a 4-1 defeat to Uruguay.

“Congratulations to Edson Castillo on your National Team Call-up,” the club said on their WhatsApp channel.

CARLING KNOCKOUT

Meanwhile, Chiefs are hours away from finding out who they will face in the brand-new Carling Knockout Cup.

The draw is set to take place on Tuesday at 13:00 live on SuperSport TV. Chiefs, along with last season’s top eight teams, will be seeded in order to draw and face last season’s bottom eight.
