Richards Bay lost the KwaZulu-Natal derby, 3-2, against Royal AM on 10 December.

Amakhosi coach, Cavin Johnson will be assessing some of his previously injured players who have since resumed training with the team, including Ashley du Preez and Siyethemba Sithebe.
However, players such as Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, Itumeleng Khune and Keagan Dolly are still unavailable for selection.
