Kaizer Chiefs are targeting former Borussia Dortmund midfielder
The former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Tashreeq Matthews remains a target for Kaizer Chiefs but a deal isn’t on the table yet.
Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly interested in IK Sirius midfielder Tashreeq Matthews.
The 23-year-old Cape Town born player was seen as a player that can develop under the guidance of Chiefs star player Keagan Dolly.

According to Soccer Laduma, the move can only happen if Amakhosi’s interim coach Cavin Johnson sees Matthews in his plans.

The former Borussia Dortmund remains a target for Chiefs but a deal isn’t on the table yet.

“As much as the new coach will determine the signing of Tashreeq Matthews he will also be looking at which players the team needs to keep or release so I think it will happen during the transfer window period in January,” Soccer Laduma said.

“Or it could be in July around the off-season time (for Matthews’ signing). What I can tell you though is that Tashreeq Matthews is still on the club’s wanted list as it stands now.”
Amakhosi are in action this weekend against Polokwane City at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
