He feels that by contrast to Pirates, Sundowns train individuals with more gusto.

Da Gama believes that Orlando Pirates’ problems are all starting in training.
“I went to see Sundowns train, they are putting in the time, they work hard on individuals and for me that’s where it comes. When coaches come and tell you they train 400 hours or 600 hours a week, that doesn’t count as anything for me, where is Lepasa scoring goals?” Da Gama asked on Playing the Field With Shakes YouTube Channel.

“Lepasa is a goalscorer, why is he not scoring goals? For me it’s about the individual. I don’t know how they train, so it’s difficult for me to comment. I just hear they train a thousand hours a week, I don’t know how many hours a week they train.
“But for me it’s all about giving the boy confidence and working on him and sitting on him on videos. You show him his individual videos how he can improve. I don’t think we’re doing enough of that. I believe we could be working more on our strikers. Even if bringing ex strikers, you bring in people who scored goals and you make them specifically work on those players,” he added.
