It’s been a troubled week for Thembinkosi Lorch. The Orlando Pirates star was handed a five-year suspended sentence after being found guilty of assaulting his ex–girlfriend. It got worse, as his club took measures to suspend him for three weeks while conducting an internal conversation. It’s in times like these that people count on their close circles and Lorch will certainly be looking to family to lend him support.

Although not much is known about the player’s life off the pitch, many have been wondering how many children Thembinkosi Lorch has.
THEMBINKOSI LORCH THE FATHER
While we know for sure that Thembinkosi Lorch is a father, it’s not entirely clear how many children he has. Numerous sources have cited various numbers, but we can verify that – according to the law – he has at least two children. During his ongoing assault case, he told the courts he only had two children who were aged eight and three.

His lawyer claimed, “As a soccer player, his salary fluctuates, and his salary is roughly R50 000. He has to send money to his first child who lives with their mother in Qwa-Qwa, and he lives with his other child. My client will appreciate a suspended sentence,”.
There had previously been rumours that Thembinkosi Lorch might have as many as four children but there’s been little evidence to support that aside from speculative YouTube videos.
DOES HE HAVE A CHILD WITH NATASHA THAHANE?
Thembinkosi Lorch and Natasha Thahane’s relationship appears to have weathered many storms. However, it’s currently unclear if the two have a child together. While Natasha has regularly posted her son’s milestones, Lorch has no evidence of their child on his social pages.

Furthermore, the court document mentioned above which cited the player’s children failed to mention Thahane as any of his baby mamas. It’s widely reported and believed that the two are married and still together, but the recent reveal has cast question marks over whether or not they share a child.
Regardless, it seems as if Thembinkosi Lorch certainly has enough people who love him in his close circle. Let’s hope that leads to improved behaviour off the pitch, and a continued performance on it.
