HERSCHELLE GIBBS PRAISES PROTEAS
While many SA cricket fans have labelled the Proteas as “chokers” after their fifth CWC semi-final loss, one professional player has defended them.
Herschelle Gibbs – a former player-turned-coach – showed his support.

Throughout the game, Herschelle – like many fans – was on the edge of his seat. He even recalled playing in the Protea’s fateful Cricket World Cup semi-final clash against Australia back in 1999, which SA also sadly lost.
He posted: “213 for the Aussies to win .. shoes on the other foot. You couldn’t write a better script.”

NO WORD FROM TEMBA BAVUMA
Meanwhile, Proteas captain Temba Bavuma – who has been criticised for being unfit and a poor leader – has yet to address the team’s loss.
On both his Twitter and Instagram accounts, the batsman – who confessed to being not 100% fit”, but that it “will have to be good enough” – has seemingly gone MIA.
