Jadon Sancho has not trained with Man United’s first team ever since he criticised manager Erik Ten Hag in public.

Since he was appointed as the coach of Manchester United last year, Erik ten Hag has not taken any prisoners.

The Dutchman’s mandate was to rebuild United into the team they were a decade ago and win trophies.

In the first two months, Erik Ten Hag made a bold decision when he benched starman Cristiano Ronaldo for four consecutive games and at times, the Portuguese captain wasn’t even fielded.

Ronaldo was released by the club following an explosive interview in which he criticised the club and Ten Hag.

Since then, Manchester United has gone to win the Carabao Cup, reached the FA Cup final and qualified for top 4.

His team hasn’t found their rhythm yet this season, and have already lost four league games.

One of the biggest talking points of Man United’s season is the exclusion of Jason Sancho. The English international criticised Erik Ten Hag publicly after the manager claimed that he was dropped from the squad against Arsenal due to his training levels.

The Dutch manager has since asked the forward to apologise.

By banishing Jadon Sancho from first-team training, Ten Hag has once again proved that he’s in charge and won’t take any prisoners. No player should feel bigger than the team and players such as Harry Maguire have learned that the hard way.
