The Springbok Women team will be in action as they take on the San Clemente Rhinos at False Bay Rugby Club in Cape Town on Tuesday.

Notably, New York Rugby Club’s Samantha Els (lock) – who is the daughter of golfing legend Ernie – will also get a first opportunity to show her capabilities.

Els will be locked in with regular captain Nolusindiso Booi, who will start her first match for the Springbok Women since 1 April, when she picked up an injury.

Her father, who is known as the ‘Big Easy’, is one of the greatest golfers ever produced by South Africa – having four major victories to his name (2002 & 2012 Open Championship, 1994 & 1997 US Open).
