A study has found that Cape Town Stadium is one of the top five best venues in the world for rugby fans.
A recent survey found that the Cape Town Stadium, home of the Stormers and Cape Town City, ranked among the top five rugby stadiums in the world and the best in South Africa for fan experience.

The finding is based on Google review scores, capacity, accessibility and affordability.
To identify the top rugby venues, Betway Insider analysed 30 international stadiums. This study considered factors such as Google review scores, capacity, accessibility and affordability to ascertain the best overall fan experience.

Cape Town Stadium was named fourth in Betway’s Top 5 Global Rugby Stadiums for Fans ranking, standing out with a Google review score of 4.6 out of 5 and over 20 000 Instagram posts.
It was also lauded as the eighth-most affordable stadium globally, with the average cost of attending a game being less than £77.
Originally constructed for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the venue has been the home ground for the Stormers since 2021, with WP Rugby becoming anchor tenants in March 2023.
It has also hosted the South African leg of the Sevens Series since 2015 and the Sevens World Cup in 2022.
