Broos says Bafana must learn from Springboks and show passion
“I didn’t understand why the team was playing like this,” Hugo Broos said after Bafana’s 0-0 draw with Eswatini.
Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos said the SA national soccer team should learn from the Springboks.
The SA national rugby team defeated France 29-28 in the Rugby World Cup quarter-final match on Sunday and one thing that stood out in the match was their relentless fight and passion.

Broos, who was frustrated when Bafana failed to beat Namibia on Friday, said the team should show passion when playing against Ivory Coast on Tuesday.
“I think it’s quite easy to turn it around because the past proved that they can do it differently, the quality is there. It’s not a question of quality, more a question of mentality and underestimating the opponent.
BROOS WANTS BAFANA BAFANA TO PLAY WITH PASSION
“We weren’t ready from the beginning of the game and then you have more problems against an opponent like this, I’m confident tomorrow will be different because they know they playing Ivory Coast so from the beginning they will be more focused than Friday,” said Broos as per iDiski Times.
Bafana will play in next year’s Afcon in Ivory Coast and Tuesday’s match will very much gauge their readiness for the competition.

Broos said the team should be more focused playing a big team like Ivory Coast.
“I don’t agree with it, they are professionals and have to do it in every game and when you see yesterday evening [the Springboks], the passion and the way they are playing, I think we have a lot to learn about [from] them,” he said.
