Six Orlando Pirates players have been selected in Hugo Broosโ€™ latest Bafana Bafana squad to contest friendly matches against Namibia and DR Congo in September.

BAFANA BAFANA PRELIMINARY SQUAD FOR SEPTEMBER FRIENDLIES

Sipho Chaine, Nkosinathi Sibisi, Thabiso Monyane, Innocent Maela, Zakhele Lepasa and Monnapule Saleng are the six Buccaneers in the latest Bafana squad to face Namibia and DR Congo in friendly clashes next month. This group of 36 players, meanwhile, will be cut to 23.

KAIZER CHIEFS AND SUNDOWNS TAKE CENTRE STAGE

Meanwhile, the MTN8 semi-final lineups have been finalised. Kaizer Chiefs will be home to Mamelodi Sundowns in the first leg of their clash on Saturday, 02 September 2023 at FNB Stadium. The second leg fixture will take place at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday, 23 September 2023.
