Recently departed Kaizer Chiefs striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana has opened up on his abrupt exit from the Glamour Boys.

Chiefs confirmed the axing of the lanky striker this week ahead of the arrival of Colombian striker Efmamjjasond Gonzáles Palacios.

Bimenyimana, who scored eight goals in just 14 starts for the club after joining them as an emergency signing, has sent a strong farewell message to the club.

“It was a hard decision to take. But after all that happened, it’s worth it. All I can say is thank you, Lord. My prayer has been answered. I feel really happy to be free. God never disappoints me. I can’t wait for the next chapter.” the Burundian marksman said as quoted by FarPost.

“I was the head of technical of the club and reports were presented and we realised there were certain areas we needed to work on.” Ntseki explained regarding his appointment as Amakhosi head coach.

“There was a lot of noise about other coaches coming to Kaizer Chiefs and the club never said anything about anybody coming to the club.

“I think it was a plan from the club to have somebody from within to continue with the technical team. As for the public and anybody who had questions about me, I have said it that in South Africa you are declared useless before you are even born.

“And I think it’s a process all of us need to understand. When you are carried for nine months there is respect and belief that whoever is going to be born on this earth will have a big contribution to make.”
