BANYANA BANYANA STAR KGATLANA EARNS A BIG MOVE
Thembi Kgatlana is leaving Racing Louisville after joining the MLS club in 2022 following stints with Benfica, Eibar and Atletico Madrid. The well-travelled striker makes the switch to Tigres for a reported $275k transfer fee along with $25k in add-ons and 5% on any future sale. This is according to UnplayableZA on x via Bekki Morgan. It’s the second-biggest fee for an outgoing player in NWSL history. The 27-year-old will earn $550k a year, or R10 Million.
Kgatlana’s national team colleague Jermaine Seoposenwe plies her trade for Mexican outfit Monterrey, so we could see the pair strike up an exciting rivalry in Central America.
