The South African national football team, Bafana Bafana, has been officially eliminated from the Council of Southern Africa Football Association ( COSAFA) Cup.

This follows after the team failed to win against the minnows Madagascar in the quarter finals.
The game took place on Sunday afternoon at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Bafana Bafana lost 4-3 in a penalty shootout.
Madagascar has joined Zambia and Lesotho in the semi-finals.
