Ashleigh Ogle dedicates her boxing match victory to all women
Entertainer Ashleigh Ogle – who accused ex Springbok Elton Jantjies of being abusive – dedicated her celebrity boxing victory to ‘all women’.
Ashleigh Ogle – who once dated former Springbok Elton Jantjies and rappers Shogun, DA LES, and Flvme – has dedicated her celebrity boxing match victory to the victims of gender-based violence (GBV).
On Sunday, the reality TV star and entertainer – who is also a gender-based violence (GBV) activist – beat MMA fighter Cassandra Le Roux.
The match was sponsored by Tumelo Ramaphosa’s company, Studex Meats. It took place in Durban during the Nelson Mandela Boxing Cup.
ASHLEIGH OGLE CELEBRATES BOXING MATCH VICTORY
In an Instagram post, Ashleigh Ogle reflected on her first boxing match.
Sharing a look at behind-the-scene pictures, she posted: “If you are going to fight gender-based violence, fighting it doesn’t start when you see two opposite genders fighting. It starts with you”.
Ashleigh thanked Tumelo Ramaphosa for giving her an “opportunity to start my healing journey through boxing.”
She continued: “This victory was for ALL WOMEN. The most common way women give up their power is by thinking they don’t have any. THIS IS YOUR REMINDER”
Ahead of her fight – which was originally set to take place against influencer Inno Morolong, Ashleigh said of her motivation: “The reason I am doing this is to empower women. As you know, I’ve gone through a lot of stuff.
She added: “This is my way of showing women that you can stand your ground and accomplish a lot of things.”
A VICTIM OF GBV
Over the years, Ashleigh Ogle has been vocal about finding herself in abusive relationships.
In a tell-all late last year, the mom-of-one made several shocking claims about her ex, Elton Jantjies.
They include allegations of domestic abuse, substance abuse, and even claims he stalked her.
The TV personality – who dated Elton for just three months – told The South African that she had taken a protection order out against her rugby player ex.

Weeks prior, Ashleigh issued a statement about her split from Elton, claiming she was “living in fear.” She also hinted at him being “dangerously obsessed.”
Elton, however, denied the allegations.
Ashleigh has also had a run-in with another ex-boyfriend, rapper Mthunzi ‘Shogun’ Ngani, who is the son of music composer Lebo M.
In 2022, the mother-of-one made headlines over a viral video of her now-ex trying to forcefully gain entry into her house.
According to Kaya FM, Ashleigh claims she sustained bruises during the altercation from being “banged against the walls.”
ZiMoja reports that Shogun was recently found guilty of assault charges relating to the incident. He will reportedly pay a fine.
