Here’s how the Pool standings at the 2023 Rugby World Cup look after week one, plus a full list of results and all the fixtures to come.

We bring you the latest Rugby World Cup Pool standings after a whirlwind opening round of action, which included some nail-biting encounters, an All Blacks defeat and several resounding victories.

RWC INFORMATION

RWC 2023: POOL A RESULTS, FIXTURES AND STANDINGS

Results (round one): France registered a stunning 27-13 victory over the All Blacks in Paris, while Italy thumped Allister Coetzee’s Namibia 52-8 in Saint-Etienne.

Fixtures (round two): The All Blacks will want to get back to winning ways when they take on Namibia on Friday, while hosts France will play their second game of the tournament against Uruguay in Lille.

RWC 2023: POOL B RESULTS, FIXTURES AND STANDINGS

Results (round one): Ireland overpowered Romania on their way to a whopping 82-8 win in Bordeaux. The Springboks recorded an impressive 18-3 win over Scotland in Marseille.

Fixtures (round two): Ireland have the challenging task of fronting an inspired Tonga side in Nantes on Saturday and the Springboks have another Sunday fixtures, this time against Romania at 3pm.

RWC 2023: POOL C RESULTS, FIXTURES AND STANDINGS

Results (round one): The Wallabies were made to work hard for their 35-15 triumph over Georgia in Paris and Wales snatched a 32-26 victory from the jaws of defeat against a remarkable Fiji side.

Fixtures (round two): Wales will undoubtedly have an easier game when they take on Portugal in the second round, while Australia will clash with Fiji in the arguably the match of the round.

RWC 2023: POOL D RESULTS, FIXTURES AND STANDINGS

Results (round one): England stunned an out of sorts Argentina 27-10 in Marseille and Japan overcame the inspired tournament debutants, Chile, to clinch a 42-12 win in Toulouse.

Fixtures (round two): Samoa will play their first match at the Rugby World Cup when they square off against Chile and England will face Japan in Nice on Sunday.
